Part of a renown luxury global hotel group, our client is currently seeking an exec head chef with comparable 5 * resort experience to oversee the multiple outlets consisting of a fine dining international restaurant operation, beach side cafe, poolside dining and 24 hour room service.

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive head or can be sous   Chef to lead the culinary team at a luxurious 5-star beachside resort in Bali. The ideal candidate will bring a fresh and innovative approach to the culinary experience, seamlessly blending Western and Asian cooking techniques and preparations. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a stunning tropical setting, delivering a world-class dining experience to our discerning guests.




1.    Menu Development:

Craft a diverse and sophisticated menu that harmoniously combines Western and Asian culinary influences.

Create seasonal menus that emphasize fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, reflecting the vibrant flavors of Bali.

2.    Innovation and Creativity:

Introduce inventive and contemporary culinary concepts to elevate the resort's dining experience.

Experiment with fusion techniques that celebrate the best of both Western and Asian cuisines.

3.    Quality Control:

Ensure all culinary offerings meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and nutritional value.

Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the food preparation process.

4.    Leadership and Team Development:

Lead and inspire a team of culinary professionals, fostering a collaborative and creative working environment.

Provide training and mentorship to enhance the skills of the kitchen staff.

5.    Adherence to Standards:

Uphold and enforce sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination in delivering exceptional service.

6.         Guest-centric:

            High guest contact.  Visible and communicative with guests to curate individual experiences and have a natural flair for personalizing guests’ culinary expectations.



1.    Culinary Expertise:

Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end (Michelin Star or similar), international setting.

Extensive knowledge of both Western and Asian cooking techniques and marriage of flavors.

2.    Innovation and Creativity:

Demonstrates ability to develop and execute creative, trendsetting menus.

Passion for exploring new culinary trends and incorporating them into the resort's offerings.

3.    Leadership Skills:

Strong leadership and management abilities to guide and motivate the culinary team.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with other departments.

4.    Quality-focused:

Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.

Attention to detail and a keen sense of aesthetics in culinary creations.

5.    Adaptability:

Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of a 5-star beachside resort environment.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.

 About you 

Experienced as an Executive head chef  in all aspects of running a successful high-end boutique  luxury resort

Must speak Fluent and written English, well presented, personable and calm mannered, great with guest interaction and leading a team with respect for local traditions and customs. 

Education and Experience:

  • Culinary degree from a reputable institution.
  • Proven track record of success as an Executive Chef in luxury resorts or high-end restaurants within Europe.
  • Asian and Western culinary experience.

Salary and benefits 

6000 dollars net per month 

30 days holiday 

(Includes housing, Duty Meals, Annual leave ticket, International Health insurance and all taxes are all included in the package )

Round trip ticket home every 2 years.
