Our client is launching a new cool smashed burger concept that serves a specific purpose – “smashing good” food and a fun time! Offering a short-listed menu of mouth-watering items prepared with the best ingredients.
You will be a hands-on manager, leading your team and working with them on the line and on the floor with customers. A solid experience in QSR and burgers is required.
You will be required to travel to Kuwait (exact dates tbc) to receive full training with the team there, before coming back to prepare for the grand opening in December!
What we are looking for: - Passionate and talented manager with an experience in QSR environment, especially with burgers - Have an outgoing personality and genuinely enjoy talking to customers - Hands-on supporting and managing your team - Being able to work front and back of house and cover other staff as required on a daily basis - Knowledge of cooking equipment used in QSR environment - Attention to detail in everything you do - Able to work quickly, calmly, and efficient during busy periods - Reliable and punctual - Flexible to work 5 days over 7 days, 45 hours per week
Responsibilities will include:
- Run smooth day to day operations, back office and employees - Ensure daily and monthly budgets and sales targets are met - Back-office duties including stock control and perform monthly stock take, weekly rotas, manage POS system etc - Welcome and deal with customers by delivering exceptional customer service and ensure your staff does the same - Deal with customer complaints - Hands on manager working with the team on the line and on the floor with customers - Ensure the cleanliness of the store, managing the cleaning schedule to keep the store clean and tidy - Ensure that company’s standards and UK food safety procedures and regulations are followed (keep up to date HACCP, allergen book, staff handbook, records and documents required for Food Safety inspection etc.) - Recruit front and back of house staff - Induction and training of all new staff. Regular and on-going training of staff - Supervise food and drink production and ensure that all employees follow company’s standards - Produce cost calculations and pricing for all new items for Management to authorise - Work with Management in developing financial, budgetary plans and reviewing P&L reports - Provide Management with monthly inventory forecast including all suppliers and place orders when needed - Responsibility for local Authority Food Safety Inspections, to maintain a 5-star rating
Hours: Operating hours planned are 11am to 11pm, 7 days a week and bank holidays so flexibility and availability to work all shifts is essential. Applicants must be fluent in English, be eligible to work in the UK, be able to provide two current work references and have a minimum 2-year experience in similar environments.
